Important update on mandatory BIS Certification for manufacturers and importers of “Diesel Engines – NOx Reduction Agent AUS 32 – Specification” for Indian marketplace.

Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (MINISTRY OF CHEMICALS AND FERTILIZERS) has prepared a Quality Control Orders in respect of Diesel Engines – NOx Reduction Agent AUS 32 – Specification in consultation with BIS in order to bring it under mandatory BIS certification keeping in view the human safety and for ensuring the optimum quality of product. The QCO for above said product is attached below:

The notification was released on 26th February 2024 and it will be implemented from 24th August 2024.
