Important update on mandatory BIS Certification for manufacturers / importers of “Bottled Water Dispensers” for Indian marketplace.

Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade has prepared a Draft Quality Control Orders in respect of Bottled Water Dispensers and Plastic Based Boards in consultation with BIS in order to bring it under mandatory BIS certification keeping in view the human safety and for ensuring the optimum quality of product.
